Implement on-brand global creative across all channels. Leading the creative on cross-functional collaborative teams that include copywriters, photo editor, production, subject matter experts, strategists, product managers, executives, and creative agencies.

As a multi-faceted designer, my UX Design includes creating wireframes, prototypes, and final visual designs with highly detailed annotations for developers on B2B e-commerce site.

BACKSTORY

HI, MY NAME IS SHANNON HICKS

My background is an intersection of culture, challenges and change. I grew up absorbing the culture from deep in heart of Alabama, as well as the funky, liberal, music haven of Austin. I found my calling where Art met technology to visually solve problems. My Communication Design education included several interesting and diverse internships. In addition to paying my way though school, I believe the experience parleyed into helping me win best portfolio at graduation.

The connection between people, cultures, history, location and technology, makes us who we are. Ask me one day about my Mother’s participation in the civil right movement, how my grandmothers helped her family escape share cropping or my great-grandfather part in the Florida land boom. As a foodie want a be, cooking is a favorite topic. We can chat about my recent trip to Bali, sailing the Komodo Islands, or when I taught English in Turkey for two years.
